New Holland CR 980 combine

Combining winter wheat, this combine is equipped with a 30' header. It made its debut with us as a new machine in July 2003 and has proved to be reliable. This machine combined 3900 acres in 405 drum hours.
Autofarm equiped the machine with a satellite auto steer system which proved to be a huge success; enabling perfect lands to be cut every time. Offloading the grain into traillers on the move was carried out with a much faster forward speed - the combine is allways travelling dead straight! This is arguably the first New Holland combine of this generation auto steered anywhere in the world. For fun we unloaded a complete load into a chaser bin pulled by the JD 8520T, both machines were auto steered during the entire process. I believe this to be a world first.
